Who writes the guides

The guides in this library are published under the name of Vivek Dhiman, founder of Madly. Madly is an AI ad concept tool for ecommerce founders, and the guides, calculators and checkers on this site are written to help founders make clearer decisions about advertising.

This page deliberately stays narrow. It describes what the guides are for, how they are written and how to treat them. It does not make claims about personal history or credentials, and a guide should be judged on its reasoning, its sources and its honesty about limits, not on the author's name.

What the guides are for

The guides explain concepts such as return on ad spend, break-even targets, acquisition cost, testing and creative practice in plain language. They use hypothetical examples so you can follow the arithmetic. They are general education, not financial, legal or advertising-standards advice, and they cannot account for your own margins, market or legal obligations.

How claims are handled

  • Examples are hypothetical. Numbers and stores in examples are invented to show a method. They are not results from real customers.
  • No invented testimonials. Guides do not present fabricated reviews, quotes or performance figures.
  • Platform details change. Where a guide touches specifications, policies or interfaces, it points to the official source and states when it was last checked. If we could not confirm a figure, we say so and leave it out.
  • Vendor statistics are not repeated. Performance and user numbers published by software vendors describe their own data, so we do not reproduce them as evidence.
  • Comparisons are editorial. Where tools are compared, the comparison uses stated criteria and each vendor's own public description. It is not a hands-on ranking.
  • Conflicts of interest are stated. Madly publishes these guides and sells a product. Where Madly is mentioned, read it with that in mind.

Sources and review

Guides link to official documentation where it exists. Dates on each guide show when it was published and last updated. Platform-related pages should be re-checked against the official source before you act, since interfaces and policies change without notice.

Reporting a correction

If you find an error, an outdated statement or a claim you think is unsupported, tell the Madly team through the contact route on the main site. Corrections are made to the guide and the updated date changes. A correction that affects a number, a policy statement or a safety-relevant caution takes priority.

Where to start

If you are new to the numbers, begin with what is ROAS, then work through the other guides in the library. For using AI in advertising, begin with the AI ads pillar guide. The ROAS calculator and break-even ROAS calculator help you apply the ideas to your own numbers.
