How to use this tool

A rough layout can reveal a weak hierarchy before you spend time polishing an asset. Add your image, change the headline and action, and switch between a feed-style square and a vertical story-style composition.

These are deliberately generic mockups, not official platform previews. Displayed controls, copy truncation and crops depend on the account, device and placement. Check the real platform preview before spending on a campaign.

  • Upload a local image.
  • Enter the headline and call to action.
  • Switch between feed and story layouts.
  • Review image framing and headline hierarchy; verify the complete ad in the actual platform preview.

Worked example

Compare the same photo with a short headline in feed and story layouts. The taller story composition may crop different details. This tool has no primary-text or description field and cannot check their truncation.

Illustrative example, not a benchmark, customer result or prediction.

Assumptions and review notes

A good preview shows the ad as a customer would see it and exposes truncation early. It is an approximation, so confirm in the platform own preview before publishing. Check at least two placements, since the same text breaks differently in a feed and in a narrow story frame. Read the preview on a phone if you can, because line breaks and image crops that look fine on a wide monitor can look cramped on a small screen. Fix the first line before anything else, as it is the one line everyone sees.

  • Text length.
  • Placement.
  • Device width.
  • Image crop.
  • Putting the offer at the end of long text.
  • Trusting the mockup over the platform preview.
  • Ignoring the headline cut.
  • Leaving placeholder text in.
