What belongs in the image or video, primary text, headline and destination?

Draft a Meta ad with one visual proposition, supporting copy and a destination that answers the same shopper question.

Give each element a job

The image or opening frame should make the product recognisable. Primary text can explain one useful detail; a headline can name the next step; the button should match the destination. For a reusable notebook, a demonstration of replacing pages could pair with “See how the refill system works” and a product page that shows the mechanism.

Do not put an important qualification only in tiny overlay text. Placement crops and interfaces vary. Write a compact version and preview it across the actual selected placements. Meta’s Ads Guide lists available formats and specifications, while its Advertising Standards apply to both creative and destination.

  • One product and one main proposition.
  • Product and offer match the page.
  • No personal-attribute guess about the viewer.
  • Preview all selected placements.

Make a review pass before publishing

Read the visual, text and landing page together: do they create a stronger implied claim than any one element alone? “Finally fix your sleep” next to a supplement image would need scrutiny even if the product page uses softer wording. Replace a risky implied outcome with factual, relevant product information and obtain specialist review where needed.

Save a version of the copy and the destination used in the ad. Platform controls and available placements change; confirm the live ad preview rather than assuming a previous template still behaves the same way.

Illustrative production schematics, not product photographs. Dimensions, directions and claims require evidence from the exact product. Frames describe the intended shot, not a verified product result.

Common questions

Can I use the same copy in every Meta placement?
You can begin with one proposition, but preview each placement and adjust framing and text where a crop or interface changes the meaning.
